Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By clicking and accepting / purchasing any of our classes or practice sessions and by completing the on-line registration process, you agree, on behalf of yourself and/or any others you may register for to these T&Cs; These T&Cs, together with our Privacy Policy, define the terms and conditions under which we provide our services to you.

General Terms

• Avoyoga reserves the right to make changes to our class schedule without prior notice.
• The validity period of a package will start from the date of the first class and not the purchase date.
• All class packages will lapse if not used after 3 months from the date of purchase.
• Single class /private classes paid in advance are valid for 3 months from the purchase date and strictly not extendable
• All sales are non-refundable.
• All packages are non-shareable, extendable and not transferable.
• No further discount is applicable to any class pack.

Liability

• In attending classes with us, you agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Avoyoga or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. Except to the extent that the same may be precluded by law: - you hereby waive any and all claims for injury, loss, costs or damages that you have or may have in the future against us or our representatives including, without limitation, our directors, officers, coaches, staff, contractors, successors and assigns (our Representatives), in connection with your class or session (Claims), notwithstanding that such Claims may arise due to tort (including negligence), breach of contract, breach of statutory duty or misrepresentation; and
• You agree that you shall not, now or in the future, directly or indirectly, seek to make any Claim from us or our Representatives.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law: (i) all warranties, conditions and other terms implied by law are excluded from these T&Cs; and (ii) we and our Representatives shall not be liable for any special, indirect, consequential or pure economic loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, the liability of our Representatives and us arising out of any Claims shall be limited to a sum equal to the membership fees which we have received from you during the one year preceding the date of the act or omission giving rise to such Claim
• You agree to defend, fully indemnify on demand and hold harmless us and our Representatives from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, damages and losses including legal fees (on an indemnity basis) which we or our Representatives may suffer arising from any breach of the terms and conditions of your use the studio (including, without limitation, the House Rules) on your part, or in connection with any act, omission, default, negligence or conduct attributable to you.

Avoyoga Group / Private Classes

• You will follow all instructions given to you by the teachers and you acknowledge that any failure to do so will be at your own risk and may cause injury.
• You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within the past six months and have been found by such practitioner to be in good physical health and physically able to perform all aerial yoga classes or yoga class.
• It is the responsibility of the student to notify teachers of any previous injury, illness, or conditions that may impact their practice. Classes may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death.
• You confirm that the declaration make below regarding your Vaccination status is true and correct. Avoyoga reserves the rights to cancel your booking without refund should there be any information falsely declared.

Aerial Self Practice Sessions

• Students attending these sessions are fully aware that this class session does not have any teacher supervising and fully understand that the activity you are participating may involve risk of injury, risk of permanent disability or death. You are doing so at your own risk.
• You agree that you are familiar with the activity and will not attempt anything outside of your current skill level.
• You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within the past six months and have been found by such practitioner to be in good physical health and physically able to perform all aerial yoga classes or yoga class.
• You confirm that the declaration make below regarding your Vaccination status is true and correct. Avoyoga reserves the rights to cancel your booking without refund should there be any information falsely declared.

Courses Make Up Class Policy

Maximum ONE make up class per student (due to VALID medical reasons - with MC, stuck at work or gone for a holiday is not a valid reason) and we can arrange either of the following ;

• Depending on which class you missed, you may be slotted into a public group class that is covering similar topics.
• Slot in to a future batch session under special circumstances and ONLY IF it is not yet fully booked. The topics covered may be different as we do adjust the learning topics between each batch.
• If your timing does not suit any of the above, there will not be any other arrangement.

Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel for free up to 12 hours prior to class time. No cancellation allowed after this timeframe unless for medical reasons with valid medical certificate. Please email us with the supporting documents, class date and time to studio@avo.sg.
  For Memberships:
  -To maintain a small and quality class size, our maximum capacity is 8 and have minimum of 2 person to run. Please be responsible and cancel early to give a chance for others to book or for the studio to cancel class if the class does not meet the minimum number.
  - For members, 3 Late Cancellations or No Shows  will result in 5 days booking suspension. You would have to contact us via Whats App to book.
  - Repeat offenders will incur a $10 fee or membership cancellation.
  For Members Course Enrolment:
  The monthly Membership lock-in period is 2 months. If you do not fulfill the 2 months and cancel early after taking 3 out of 6 sessions, you will be charged for the 2nd month. 
  All the course inclusion (Self Practice and Class credit) is part of your existing membership.
  If you cancel your subscription after the 2 months, your course inclusions will automatically cease.
• No further discount is applicable to any class pack.

Refund Policy

• Strictly no extension is allowed once expired.
• Extension is only possible when a new class pack is bought, the expiry will be extended to the new package expiry date.

Late Policy

• Our doors will be automatically locked after 10 minutes of class starting. We are not obligated to let you enter the class after this time. When you are more than 10 minutes late, students would ave missed the warm up part of the class and may be subjected to injuries.
• The booked session will be considered taken.

Photo Release

• I understand and hereby grant Avoyoga and the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of any and all pictures or video taken of me to be used in and/or for any lawful promotional materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, annual reports, press kits and submissions to journalists, websites, social networking sites and other print and digital communications, without payment or any other consideration.
